The air drifting in through the window is saturated with the aromas of spring, of jasmine accompanied by the general sent of nature splitting open. Bringing new life. The skin on my arm’s, newly released from their winter cocoons, tingles with the sensation of air no longer cold, not yet hot.

We were invited to watch Lani’s cousin perform on stage in a musical extravaganza. The night was a thrilling experience for the little Pink Photographer with the most important point, needing to be noted down for posterity, being the time that we pulled away from the drive. 8:00pm Lani’s bed time, on the dot.
