Eli and Lani on iPod

Yep I’m going to be boring and say the iPod. I would love to tell you my most used gadget was the sewing machine or even the Kenwood Chef but this little thing wins hands down. Especially since ABC TV left our house in a haze of static snow then the Xbox decided to live up to its name and is now officially an ex everything it ever once did box. Also the CD player doesn’t and the TV has dementia and randomly changes channels, volume and turns blue.

As far as entertainment goes in this house you’re looking at it. It entertains the little kids and the big kid with game apps. It goes with us on trips so Glenn and I can turn Bohemian Rapacity up full ball and smash our hair around as the kids sit startled in the back of the car, It provides access to the world of the internets giving us the community it takes to raise a child albeit an invisible one. But best of all it allows me to read in bed with out waking in the morning with a black eye were the book hit when I fell asleep.

If you would like to see the chosen gadgets of a whole bunch of other people probably more creatively inclined than me at the moment check out Hello Owls Meme.

I’ve seen a few of my friends with 3 year olds use their iphone for this reason. I’m using the “it will be really helpful 4 Addie in a year or 2” argument in my campaign for an ipod touch 🙂

Such an amusing way to describe an ipod Sarah!! Made me chuckle it did!
I hadn’t realised how much stuff they actually do! Obviously I don’t own one. :))

Thanks for dropping by my gadget too. Yes it really is quite a handy thing. Suppose it’s not something that is crucial, but it is definitely worthwhile having in my opinion. No idea how exxie they are though, cos it was given to me.
