Just thought I’d let you see how well this little guy is doing because he completely amazes me. When I rang Jo this afternoon this is what they were up to. Finn was allowed to be unplugged for a bit so that he could once again roam the hospital corridors. Only he couldn’t go to the playroom because they still have to avoid people. Poor Finn got so exhausted he had to be carried back to his room and fell asleep as soon as he got there. But hopefully this means that they can get out sooner rather that later, they were given a sooner and a later estimate of time spent in quarantine.
Jo has learnt how to use all the machines so they just need to make sure his feeds and his levels are ok and he’s on track to go home soon. He doesn’t have to be eating real food before they can leave, that will be a while away. He is trying food though but not liking it the treatment has made everything tastes strange, Jo said that she was talking to a older boy who has gone through the same thing and he said all food tastes like cardboard for a while.
All I can say is Thank You God that Finn is doing so well.
Thank you God, for sure!! So glad to see him standing.
