Where is my princess and what have you done with her?

The way too hard to move sliding door into the sun room crunched open and Alanah tumbled through. In her hands was yet another conglomeration of found objects carefully held together with copious amounts of sticky tape. 

"look what I made Mummy"

I look and quickly analyse, its mostly pink and purple straws, could be a fairy castle? Frankly I can’t get past how much it looks like an aerial. Deciding the interest of a 7 year old girl probably doesn’t lie in the broadcast industry I fold and ask the question.

"oh wow, what is it Honey?"

"the shootatron, it has Guns on it. Its for killing baddies."

This line sparks her fathers interest.

"UM. Where did you get that Idea from?"

"I dunno, it just popped into my head…..and…." she adds upon noticing the room full of slightly startled expressions"…it also cooks dinner for you"
