For five days I had three kids under three, and yes I had my hands full.
Every year the kids wait with anticipation for these five days. Turning the girls birthdays into magical monuments standing guard one on each side of a unique moment in time that happens only once every year. A time that is celebrated by running around screaming
“Mummy, did you know that I am Seven and he is Six and Lilly has just turned Five!!!” like it was something that might never have occurred to me before. Or my favourite from Lilly
“I didn’t know that I would be Five and they would be Six and Seven, I didn’t know!!!”
Oh yeah and don’t forget for those five days they must sit in order of age or else the world will stop turning.
Thanks for your comment on my blog! We are thrilled about the new baby. You are amazing having 4 children and coping with bad morning sickness 4 times.
This post made me laugh. My brother and I are 23 months apart and for so for a month he is “only a year younger”, and would drive me crazy saying “I’m catching up!” because he really thought he was and I couldn’t convince him otherwise!
