I thought I would make an attempt to bring a little festive cheer into the construction zone and since I saw THIS POST by Filth Wizardry I have been desperate to try it.
We added a Christmas flavour by sticking a nativity on the window as well. I printed the nativity colouring sheets from The Activity Village.
The window decorating was really simple, or at least it was after we convinced Sabi to leave the tissue paper stuck on the window.
The whole activity was simply cutting and gluing. I used a water soluble school glue stick in the hope that eventually I will be able to wash everything off. I can’t tell you if it will or not because Fifth Wizardys window is still up.
I have to show you the Kissing Sheep, the girls are very proud of their kissing sheep.
This is how the window looks from the street
And this is what we get to see when we sit on our lounge. Well at least I’ve started now I do feel a little bad that I’m nowhere near getting a tree.
You should go check out Filth Wizardry she has some amazing projects some I would like to try are the DIY Star Wars toys and DIY remote controlled Dalek from recycling and if you want a brilliant educational idea check out DIY Spinny Spellers and re purposing Duplo bricks
It looks pretty cool from the road too ๐ We’ve driven past a few times.

That sounds quite stalker-ish ๐
It would be except that we kind of need to to get to Bunnings and cricket ๐
Looks great. Is it permanent?
Oh I want to do it now! Can I use Addie as an excuse even though she’s too tiny?? Trying to think about other soluble glues… wondering if a simple starch paste would work as well too? Nothing for it but to try I guess.
Oh and the kissing sheep are inspired ๐
I want to try this on our back door. Love it!
